HAND / OFF / AUTO Push Button Legend Plate – 22mm Black on White - Red On White Bold

Engraved selector switch legend plate reading "HAND / OFF / AUTO", 22 mm, black text on a white background. A "HAND / OFF / AUTO" marking removes doubt about which position leaves equipment running on its own.

For use on HOA selector switches for motor starters, pumps, fans and HVAC equipment.

Labels a three-position selector. HAND usually runs the equipment manually, OFF stops it, and AUTO lets the controller or schedule decide when it runs.

Where it's used: Motor starters, pump and fan controls, HVAC equipment and control panels where an operator can override automatic operation.

• Wording: "HAND / OFF / AUTO" (3 lines, bold lettering)
• Fits: Standard 22 mm push buttons, selector switches and pilot lights; a plain round center hole for devices without an anti-rotation key.
• Color: Black text on a white background. Black on white is the easiest combination to read and suits light-colored panels and enclosures.
• Shape: A square-cornered outline, with room for 3 lines of text.
• Mounting: Slides over the operator and is held in place by the device itself once it is installed, so no adhesive or screws are needed.
• Material: Two-ply engraving plastic. The wording is engraved through the top color to the contrasting core, so it can't rub off like printed ink.

Check the order of positions on your selector and order the three lines to match left to right or top to bottom. Usually ordered by hVAC contractors and plant maintenance teams. Also called: HOA, hand off auto, HOA selector plate.
