Description
Engraved label reading "WARNING / PHOTOVOLTAIC POWER SOURCE", 3" × 1", white text on a red background. The "WARNING / PHOTOVOLTAIC POWER SOURCE" legend flags conductors that stay live in daylight.
For use along conduit runs, junction boxes and combiner boxes on solar PV systems.
Warns that the conductors or conduit it marks carry power from solar panels, so they may be energized whenever there is light, even with the main service off.
Where it's used: Along conduit runs, junction boxes and combiner boxes on rooftop or ground-mount solar systems, repeated at intervals along the route.
- Wording: "WARNING / PHOTOVOLTAIC POWER SOURCE" (2 lines, bold lettering)
- Size: 3" × 1" (76 × 25 mm), a compact size that fits breaker doors, terminal covers, junction boxes and small enclosures.
- Color: White text on a red background. White on red is the usual pick for stop, fire, emergency and shut-off functions.
- Mounting: Pre-drilled holes in the corners for screws or rivets, for a permanent fix on panels, doors and equipment.
- Material: 1/16" (1.6 mm) two-ply engraving plastic with a matte finish. The wording is engraved through the top color to the contrasting core, so it can't rub off like printed ink.
- Corners: Square-cut corners and clean edges.
These are normally used in quantity, so order enough to repeat along the run and at turns and boxes. Usually ordered by solar installers and electrical contractors. Also called: PV power source label, solar conduit warning label, photovoltaic conduit marker.
This design is a starting point: press Customize to change the wording, color or size, then order as few or as many as you need. Made to order in Waterford, PA and on its way in 2–4 business days.
